Had my daughter bring me back the Commander’s Palace blend and a Summer blend, Peru Gilmer Cordova Meija coffee a few weeks back to make some cold brew, one of my favorite pastimes, that and drinking it. I tried the Commander’s Palace after searching the website. It is very good, quite strong and definitely more like a concentrate than my other selections that are just fine with ice, a splash of Chobani Creamer and homemade chocolate syrup. The Cordova Meija was also a good choice. Unfortunately, some of these choice offerings are seasonal. So, you have to load up when you can. I want to give a shout out to Mr. Spencer, who spoke with me over my daughter’s phone. Spencer was so knowledgeable, patient and enjoyable to speak with. He had plenty of helpful suggestions like the Cordova. I even got a kick out of him, labeling my bags, Papa Crawford. I am also thankful that he signed me up for their loyalty program. He is the first person to sign me up over the past four years and multiple purchases. Kudos to him. Have a great week.

My first time coming here. I went in to get my husband a cold brew. I asked the cashier what coffee was the strongest and he said the Oji... he gave me a sample which for me was very strong...but I hadn’t had coffee of any kind since November 2023. My husband wanted a shot of espresso added so he obliged. The cashier was very professional and polite and the service was excellent!!! I would definitely be back!!!

Went to one of the many locations of French Truck Coffee in New Orleans. Much like everything else in NOLA, this coffee shop had Taylor Swift theme drink options to accommodate those who identify as Switfties. Clearly, a very inclusive cafe. I chose to go with the iced drink as I’m not one of those people that can drink a hot beverage in a hot day. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Amazing little coffee place! They have lots of gluten free options which I appreciated. Coffee was strong and yummy- everything was better than I even expected. Friendly baristas who asked if we needed help ordering despite being busy inside. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Trenekia and Toni were stellar and seemed to really enjoy their jobs, which made all the difference. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Don’t forget to get a sticker or a patch to spread the word. I had a Caffe Mocha that was exceptional blended.

Update: After my last trip here I learned how they use a different process for roasting their decaf, which is what I prefer to drink. I purchased a bag of beans to take home, and quickly realized that after tasting their decaf nothing else could measure up. This trip I went by and bought all that they had to take home, and when I was checking out overheard the person checking me out say that they had a contest going on for who sold the most of their Christmas blend (which I have also had and was excellent.) Sharing a photo of the team that I am sure will win this contest, as well as winning my heart for their great service. Go team! Finding French Truck Coffee on one of my earlier trips to New Orleans was one of my favorite finds. I was here yesterday scouting for places the upcoming NOLA Super Bowl guests can eat like a local, and I can't think of a better place to get that morning coffee. All of the locations are fun, happy places to start your day with excellent coffee. The staff is always a treat. I saw the sign for this Lavender Matcha lemonade, but sadly they weren't going to start serving it until next week. Instead of saying no, the gracious woman behind the counter said that even though it hadn't officially started, she had the ingredients and would be happy to make one for me - THAT is customer service! I don't know if this was a promotion or always the case, but be sure to pick up some of their fresh bags of coffee beans to take with you. I was offered a free drip coffee with purchase which I happily accepted. After a trip filled with horrendous issues at the hotel that I was staying at, French Truck but a smile back on my face, and made my day much better - thank you.

A Heartwarming Coffee Experience From the moment we stepped in—actually, even before they officially opened—Trenekia welcomed us with a warmth that felt like home. “Come on in! Good morning, what can I make for you?!” she called out, setting the tone for a visit filled with genuine hospitality and sunshine-bright smiles. The energy in the cafe was contagious. At 7 AM, after daylight savings no less, I watched as every customer in line stood up a little taller, their sleepy expressions turning into smiles that matched Trenika’s. It was more than just great service—it was a reminder of how kindness and enthusiasm can change the course of someone’s day. And the latte? Absolute perfection. It was served with the kind of care that made it feel like you were sipping it at your grandma’s house on a cold winter morning—comforting, rich, and just what you needed. If you’re looking for more than just coffee—if you want an experience that warms your heart as much as your drink—this is the place to be.

Avoiding chains as a general rule, Frenc Truck Coffee was an exception given the times people recommended it. After all, it's a local coffee shop. Ordering the vanilla latte, I was impressed with the flavor and balance of cream and sweetness. I now get the hype.
